There are a few ways you can remove your icing sheet from its backing:

  • Edge of a table - If the icing sheet is already quite loose, you can use the edge of a table to peel the backing away from the icing

  • Place in the freezer - This is by far the easiest way of removing the icing if you are having issues. Just pop it in the freezer for 30 seconds and then quickly remove it from its backing.

  • Apply heat - To help remove humidity from the sheet, you can place it in a warm oven for 10 minutes to help ease the icing away from the backing. You can also use a hairdryer, however, be sure to flip over the sheets to reduce the risk of damaging the sheets.
